One of the Killers from March 1, 2008, Passed Away 20 Days Ago: Seda Safaryan

“One of the killers from March 1, 2008, passed away about 20 days ago,” Seda Safaryan, a representative of the victims' legal successors in the March 1 case, said on Azatutyun's airwaves.

According to her, the mentioned individual was ready to testify. When asked about the identity of this person, Safaryan replied, “It doesn’t matter, he is someone from the oligarchic system who claimed to be one of the killers, he shot, and also named others who were involved.”

The attorney also noted that “in maintaining power, certain individuals close to Robert Kocharyan and Serge Sargsyan were involved in suppressing the ongoing political process, forming groups from among their bodyguards or trusted people, including individuals with a criminal reputation, who illegally armed themselves with various types of firearms from February 29 to the evening of March 1, 2008.”
