Man Governs the State with His Whims, and What’s Most Dangerous Is the National Destruction Way: Julfalakyan

Former MP and wrestler Arsen Julfalakyan wrote on his Facebook page: “Yerevan State University is my Alma Mater. I am a university student and I owe a great deal of gratitude to my mother university for the education I received... It is a pan-Armenian value. For those who do not have special values, let me repeat: YSU is a PAN-ARMENIAN VALUE.

In the summer of 2020, during one of the meetings of the Prime Minister’s IKK faction, many questions were raised. Some of them were very important to me, and based on the answers, I was to decide my future steps. I will not go into all the details, but I have to speak about one of them today, as it became clear that a seemingly unserious idea expressed by the Prime Minister that day is gradually beginning to take on 'flesh and blood,' just like many other ideas that seemed mistaken at first glance. Therefore, we must start a serious fight from now on to counter it.

I hope many still remember the notorious former Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, Arayik Harutyunyan, who is now the chief advisor to the current Prime Minister. The public, for many valid reasons, demanded his resignation. There were also dissenters regarding his work within the political team (I was one of the main critics...).

A question was raised to the Prime Minister regarding how he assesses the structure of the newly established Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports after about 1.5 years, whether it justifies expectations and whether the Minister is functioning effectively... The answer was just shocking, and I am sure it was unexpected for many. The well-known figure, in his characteristic style, immediately began his low-quality manipulations (which mainly work on individuals with below-average intellect or personal interests...), the culmination of which was the following: 'I believe that as long as university buildings are located in Yerevan, education and science simply cannot develop. They need to be moved out of the city...' (the continuation has already been made public by the 'brilliant' mind).

I'm sure the MPs sitting next to me will remember my surprise (to say the least…). Of course, it was shocking, but at least it seemed to me that it was said merely to evade the question... Today, that person essentially confirms his destructive idea. Everything is much more serious than we think. It has been a long time since it became serious.

Man governs the state with his whims, and what’s most dangerous is the national destruction way. It is simply incomprehensible how broad layers of society silently follow this destruction.

p.s. During that same discussion, it also became clear that London is quite an ugly city... Just imagine whom we are dealing with and what is in store for Yerevan...

p.s.s. That day I was finally convinced that talking to him about the issues of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports is simply pointless, and all that is left is to leave.”
