I Do Not Rule Out Future Meetings and Co-Chairs' Visit to Armenia: Ayvazyan

Regular contacts take place both with the entire composition of the Minsk Group and with the foreign ministers and ambassadors of the individual co-chair countries. This was stated by Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayvazyan during a session of the National Assembly’s Permanent Commission on Foreign Relations when responding to a question about whether a visit by the Minsk Group co-chairs to Armenia is planned.

“Discussions are ongoing about various parameters, and I do not rule out that there will also be meetings and a visit by the co-chairs to Armenia in the near future,” Ayvazyan said.

The Foreign Minister also noted that in this new situation, we—meaning the entire region—need a strong co-chairmanship of the OSCE Minsk Group more than ever.
