Erdogan Announces Strengthening of Coronavirus Restrictions
The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has announced the strengthening of coronavirus-related restrictions, citing an increase in the number of cities with a high risk level in the country.
According to him, during the month of Ramadan, there will be a complete lockdown on weekends, and restaurants and cafes will only provide delivery and takeout services. A curfew will continue to be in place nationwide from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
It is noteworthy that currently, the number of coronavirus cases in Turkey has surpassed 3.208 million, with 31,076 deaths recorded.
