Around-the-Clock Duty on Interstate and Inter-Regional Road Segments in Artsakh

Given the considerations for the safe and free movement of the population, the police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Artsakh are carrying out round-the-clock duty on interstate and inter-regional road segments.

The officers from the Shoshi police department, operating under the Askeran regional division, monitor the Stepanakert-Sarushen-Red Market road segment. All vehicles and the identity documents of drivers are being checked.

Since the war, the Shoshi community has become border-adjacent. Residents have returned with the belief that Artsakh's police are guarding the entrance and exit of the village day and night.

To enhance the quality of service, almost every day, Lieutenant Colonel Arman Sarukhanyan, the head of the regional police division, instructs the officers on duty at the Shoshi police department.

The Shoshi police station will soon have a new address and conditions. Construction work is underway. After commissioning, there will be comfortable conditions to organize the service at a higher level.
