Azerbaijan Attacked Hospitals and Medical Brigades During the War, Says Sahak Ohanyan
During the war, 15 military doctors and 1 volunteer doctor were killed, along with 60 paramedics and sanitary instructors. This was announced by the Head of the Medical Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Sahak Ohanyan, at a press conference on March 28.
According to him, the enemy repeatedly attacked hospitals, medical brigades, and vehicles. There is visual evidence of these attacks. 'All of this indicates that the enemy has repeatedly violated accepted norms of warfare, both written and unwritten rules, as well as the Geneva Conventions,' emphasized Sahak Ohanyan.
At the same time, he reported that the Armenian side has provided medical assistance to prisoners of war. The Armenian Ombudsman has submitted a report to the United Nations, presenting all the evidence and facts.
