Photos: Fire in Silikian District Contained

On March 27, at 11:14 AM, the National Crisis Management Center received a call reporting a fire at a plastic manufacturing facility in the Silikian district of Yerevan.

Responding to the situation at the scene were four firefighting teams from the Emergency Situations Ministry's Rescue Service, dispatched under the fire complexity category 'BIS 1,' along with operational units and groups from the Division for Fire Suppression and Rescue Operations.

A second-level response was declared due to the complexity of the fire, resulting in the deployment of additional resources including a gas protection service vehicle and a medical support team from the Medical Supply Division.

According to preliminary data, raw materials and components for plastic production were burning in a 600 square meter storage area. The fire was contained by 1:23 PM.
