Tensions Possible in Artsakh This Spring: Exclusive Interview with Semyon Pegov

Russian blogger and head of the War Gonzo project, Semyon Pegov, told ArmDaily.am that a new and massive war is imminent, targeting Iran and subsequently Russia.

Pegov attributes the reasons for the defeat suffered in the recent conflict to several layers. He notes that one of the causes was the failure of previous elites to build a modern army, citing Israel as an example. Moreover, he emphasizes that during the war, the Armenian army resembled more an army of the past than that of the future.

Pegov mentions that the influence of the USA and 'Soros' funds is strong in Armenia, and many people have been simply misled, just beginning to understand the consequences of participating in these global treasonous acts. However, he refrains from naming individuals, stating he does not wish to impact Armenia's internal political situation.

The head of War Gonzo is convinced that many senior officials have been agents of US intelligence services, both in the past and present, and have collaborated with both Turkey and Israel. He believes that the Artsakh war was a platform to strike Iran and Russia.

Regarding the next war, Semyon Pegov is confident that Azerbaijan will provoke certain clashes and various provocations in Artsakh this spring. However, he thinks that both Azerbaijan and Turkey will avoid large-scale military operations. Nonetheless, he predicts an increase in tensions in Artsakh during spring, suggesting that Azerbaijan might engage in local conflicts to exacerbate the situation.

Pegov also spoke about an exclusive film featuring unpublished footage from the Artsakh war, stating that society in Armenia and Artsakh will finally be able to learn about and see things that were previously impossible.
