Iran Attacks Cargo Ship Owned by Israeli Company: Reports

According to television reports, the ship belongs to the Israeli company XT Management, which is based in Haifa.

Iran has struck a cargo ship owned by Israeli company XT Management. The information was reported by RIA Novosti, citing Israeli Channel 12.

“Iranian military forces launched missiles early in the morning in the Arabian Sea at a cargo ship en route from Tanzania to India. The ship was damaged but continued its journey,” the channel reports.

Udi Engel, the owner of the Israeli company XT Management based in Haifa, is aware of the incident. Security forces have received reports regarding the incident and, considering several similar incidents recently, are trying to assess whether Iran has opened a new front against Israel at sea.

The ship will continue its route, with repairs planned to be carried out in India.
