Citizen Reports Fraud Case

The Data Protection Agency informs that a citizen has reported a case of fraud.

"The continuation of the message of this user was an attempt to obtain a confirmation code sent to the citizen's phone under the pretext of making adjustments (to grant premium customer status) and to access one of the electronic wallets operating in Armenia. Thus, he would gain access to the financial resources available in that wallet.

In no circumstances should you provide access to your accounts on online platforms to strangers, whether they are banking, electronic wallets, email, or social network accounts," is stated in the agency's Facebook post.
