Armen Grigoryan on SU-30s and Iskanders
All clarifications on this matter have been provided, and I have nothing more to add. This was stated by Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan during a conversation with journalists regarding the issue of Iskanders.
Grigoryan was also asked about the SU-30s, specifically why Armenia did not acquire missiles before the war. He explained, "When the SU-30s were purchased, it was considered a longer-term process. That is, the acquisition of ammunition and other capabilities was planned over a longer period than the onset of war. The issue lay in that, and we didn't have any other problems regarding the SU-30s."
In addressing the existing security issues in Syunik, Grigoryan responded, "There is no security level in any society that would be satisfactory. We are undertaking numerous efforts in line with the newly created situation to ensure that security is as high as possible within available means."
