Video: We Didn't Have the Opportunity to Use Su-30s, We Didn't Manage to Purchase the Missiles, Says Pashinyan
Unfortunately, during the war, we did not manage to acquire all the necessary accessories and missiles that would have allowed the Su-30 modern weapons to be used effectively and powerfully, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan declared today from the podium of the National Assembly.
"The Su-30 aircraft arrived in Armenia in May 2020, and yes, they conducted training flights and used missiles that were already in the Armenian arsenal. Specific decisions regarding the use or non-use of these aircraft in a military situation were made based on how well the available armaments allowed these aircraft to fulfill their assigned combat tasks," the Prime Minister stated.
He noted that what he said in the village of Ohanavan and his previous statements about the Su-30 aircraft do not contradict each other. "Unfortunately, during the war, we did not manage to acquire all the necessary accessories and missiles that would have allowed the Su-30 modern weapons to be used effectively and powerfully," Pashinyan said.
