Video: My Step Alliance Members Learned During Voting That They Supported the Lifting of Martial Law
A video has surfaced showing how deputies are questioning why they are voting in favor of this draft law. Today, during a session of the National Assembly, when the head of the My Step faction, Lilith Makunts, announced that they would vote in favor of lifting the martial law, the My Step deputies were surprised by this news.
The recording includes a conversation between Makunts, Hakob Simidyann, and Mkhtiar Hayrapetyan. The deputies express their astonishment by asking, “What draft is this? Which draft is this?” to which the response is, “We’re lifting the military one.” They follow up with, “So why are we voting in favor?” The reply is, “Ararat spoke with the government, and they said, ‘Go ahead.’” One of the deputies then asks, “Are you serious?”
