During a Q&A session in the National Assembly with government members, MP Gevorg Gorgisyan from the 'Enlightened Armenia' faction addressed the Defense Minister: 'Total chaos reigns in our army, the frontline is not properly equipped, the living conditions of soldiers are inadequate, you are unable to transport soldiers from point A to point B, soldiers are going live from their combat positions, they are getting lost in snowdrifts, citizens who have taken over duties are not being paid for months, which we are obligated to pay. How long will this chaos continue? What are you busy with that such a situation exists in the army?’

NA Deputy Speaker Alen Simonian responded to Gorgisyan, stating that the government proposes submitting the question in writing.

Gorgisyan then referred to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s assertion that during discussions regarding amendments to the electoral code, the BHK and LHK factions left that issue to the discretion of the parliamentary majority: 'Mr. Prime Minister, we have repeatedly indicated in our meetings with you that elections are necessary to get out of the crisis created, and we are ready to go with any electoral system. But do not forget, you stated that you would not change the Electoral Code without a consensus with the opposition, today there is no consensus with the opposition, yet you blame your faction, saying they will accept the new code. We have not given such consent.'
