One of the Biggest Lies Was That Kocharian Was Surrendering Meghri, Which Was Also Denied by the Mayor of Meghri: Levon Kocharian

The son of the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharian, Levon Kocharian wrote on his Telegram page: “One of the biggest lies of the past 20 years in Armenia was that Kocharian was surrendering Meghri. This absurdity was also denied today by the current mayor of Meghri. Those in the know understand that the discussion was only about a surface road, the rights to which they would receive only in the event of Artsakh’s independence or joining Armenia.

The irony of fate is that the people who have rooted this lie in our nation for years came to power in 2018 and as a result, granted Azerbaijan the rights to that road. Meanwhile, we faced thousands of casualties, significant territorial losses, and no discussion whatsoever about the status of Artsakh.”
