One MP's Ballot Has the Word 'Squealers' Written on It: Kostanyan

Today, the National Assembly deputies elected Arsen Mkrtchyan as a judge of the Court of Cassation with 87 votes. Later, a media outlet published a report claiming that profanity was written on the ballots of two of the votes against candidate Arsen Mkrtchyan, and on one ballot, the word 'squealers' was noted.

In an interview with Analitik.am, Anna Kostanyan, a member of the National Assembly's Counting Committee and a deputy from the 'Bright Armenia' faction, stated that she cannot comment on the profanity reported, as she did not see such a thing. 'I have only recorded one ballot where there were no marks next to the names of the two candidates, but a little bit aside, the word 'squealers' was written,' she said.
