Mother in Kotayk Province Sells Newborn, Claims Child Was Stillborn

The Police of Armenia is preparing materials regarding the case of a 20-year-old resident of Kotayk Province who allegedly sold her newborn. This information was reported to 'Pastinfo' by the police.

On March 22, the police received operational information indicating that the 20-year-old woman from Hrazdan city had given birth at the 'Nairi' medical center in Yeghvard in November 2020. However, after giving birth, she purportedly sold the child for money, subsequently telling her relatives that the child had been stillborn.
