Gegham Manukyan Will Not Attend Government Meeting After Taron Chakhoyan Apologizes

HHD member Gegham Manukyan was scheduled to arrive at the Government building today at 12:30 PM to request a meeting with Deputy Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister Taron Chakhoyan regarding a photo he published. The latter posted a photo on his Facebook page, claiming that the image was taken on Baghramyan Avenue, when in fact it was taken years ago in Ukraine. The street resembled a dump.

“It’s a symbolic photo,” he wrote, implying that members of the “Homeland Salvation Movement” left Baghramyan Avenue in a state of garbage after their departure.

Gegham Manukyan previously announced on Facebook that he will not attend as Taron Chakhoyan has apologized. “I have deleted my previous post because the photo did not actually depict Baghramyan Avenue. I apologize for publishing incorrect information,” wrote Taron Chakhoyan on his Facebook page.
