The Company Mentioned by Vahan Kerobyan, Opening a Live Broadcasting Studio in Armenia, is an ‘Online Casino’
The Minister of Economy of Armenia, Vahan Kerobyan, announced on his Facebook page that the Swedish company Evolution will open a live broadcasting studio in Yerevan, reports armdaily.am.
Kerobyan spoke about the company’s $25 billion capitalization, noting that such large companies will play a critical role in shaping a global quality work culture and refining skilled professionals in Armenia, which is crucial for our economy.
However, from Kerobyan’s post, it was unclear what kind of studio is being discussed, what company Evolution is, and what it is engaged in.
The company was founded in 2006 and has been listed on Nasdaq Nordic since 2015. Evolution develops, produces, sells, and licenses fully integrated B2B solutions for live casino and gaming operators. The company employs over 10,000 individuals (EVOlutioneers) from more than 80 nationalities across more than 20 cities.
Evolution promises to create hundreds of job opportunities for the youth of Yerevan and its surrounding areas. The studio will be located south of downtown Yerevan. Construction is expected to commence next month, with job openings to be announced in the coming months.
The operations of Evolution in Georgia and Armenia are managed by Jacob Claesson.
