Renovation of Schools in Moses, Aygepar, and Chinari Communities Completed

The Governor of Tavush, Hayk Chobanyan, accompanied by the head of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports, Merujan Harutyunyan, visited schools to familiarize himself with the completed renovation works.

Renovation works at Aygepar Secondary School commenced a year ago, and the governor assessed the results today.

“Last year we identified two priority areas: first, the availability of water and sanitation facilities in schools, and second, the presence of heating. We have fully resolved these issues,” stated Hayk Chobanyan.

During his visit to the secondary schools in Chinari and Moses communities, the governor reviewed the completed improvements.

“The school in Chinari has completely addressed its sanitation issues, including heating; in fact, it has centralized heating for the first time. Classrooms, separate rooms, the library, and sanitation facilities have also been renovated,” the governor noted.

“Step by step, we must elevate our schools to a certain level in terms of content and aesthetics, which will contribute to the qualitative and significant changes we consider a top priority in the education sector,” the governor added.
