Mirzoyan Suggested Voting in Favor of Lifting Martial Law

The President of the National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan, considers the claims that the martial law currently in place and any potential extension of it have any political or domestic motives to be absolutely unfounded.

"The best solution would be if the government summarized its work related to the martial law and initiated the process of lifting it itself. We all clearly accept that elections have been announced, and in the near future, the government or the ruling majority must initiate this process and lift the martial law," noted Mirzoyan.

He suggested responding to the initiative of the parliamentary opposition and voting in favor of the draft law to lift martial law tomorrow.
