14-Year-Old Nazeli, Victim of Violence in Gyumri, Now Lives in Peace

Gevorg Derdzyan, spokesperson for the St. Astvatsamayr Medical Center, made a post on his Facebook page: “A year ago, you may remember 14-year-old Nazeli, who was a victim of violence in Gyumri. The girl underwent extensive treatment at the St. Astvatsamayr Medical Center and has returned to Gyumri fully recovered.

Today, she visited us again to meet with the doctors and staff who cared for her for about five months. Everything is peaceful in Nazeli's life now. She studies at school and lives with her brother. She is already thinking about pursuing a profession, likely choosing a career in law. After the widely reported and tragic events, Nazeli has also made new friends both from the St. Astvatsamayr Medical Center and outside the hospital.”
