Video: Masis Police Uncover Illegal Drug Trafficking Case
The police continue their consistent fight against drug use and illegal drug trafficking. On March 18, the officers of the Masis division of the police uncovered another case. This was reported by the Public Relations and Information Department of the Police of the Republic of Armenia.
Criminal investigators, acting on operational information, detained a 54-year-old resident of Sardarapat village, who was driving a "VAZ-2107" vehicle from the village of Azatashen in Ararat Province. During a personal search, a substance resembling dried, crushed cannabis with a distinctive odor was discovered.
According to the detainee, the substance found is a drug that he prepared from wild cannabis plants for personal use. An examination has been appointed, and the circumstances are being clarified. The investigation is ongoing.
