Vandals Steal Bust of Prominent Writer Shushanik Kurghinyan from Komitas Pantheon

Recently, an act of vandalism occurred in Yerevan. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, an unknown individual or individuals have stolen the bust of renowned Armenian writer Shushanik Kurghinyan from the grounds of the Komitas Pantheon.

As per Shamshyan's information, the theft possibly took place between March 17 and March 20. It remains to be determined who the perpetrators are, as the investigation is being carried out by the Shengavit Division of the Police.

Notice: The suspect in the alleged crime is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, in accordance with the rules established by the Armenian Criminal Procedure Code.
