US Rejects Putin-Biden Conversation Proposal
The American side has rejected Russian President Vladimir Putin's proposal to hold a video conference with U.S. President Joe Biden, according to a statement from the Russian Foreign Ministry.
"We regret to note that the American side did not approve of the proposal from Russian President Vladimir Putin to hold negotiations with the U.S. President in an open video conference format on March 19 or 22. The purpose was to discuss the accumulated issues in bilateral relations as well as topics related to strategic stability," the statement on the Russian Foreign Ministry's website said.
