There Is Currently No Draft from Armenia to Artsakh, Balasanyan Confirms
The Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Artsakh, Vitaly Balasanyan, confirmed in an interview with the Baghramyan26 Telegram channel that Armenian citizens can serve in the Artsakh army on a voluntary basis. This information was reported by Artsakhpress.
Balasanyan stated that according to the structural changes in the army, those interested can arrive, register as citizens of Artsakh, and serve in the Defense Army. He also confirmed that there is currently no draft from Armenia to Artsakh. Moreover, the Secretary of the Artsakh Security Council denied reports that Armenia has begun the process of withdrawing troops from Artsakh.
