Grenade with Explosive Device Found in Vehicle of Individual Detained by Taroni Police

On the night of March 18, operational information was received by the Criminal Investigation Department of the Taroni Police Division in Vanadzor, indicating that there was a grenade inside an "Opel" car parked near Narekatsuy's second building. Following the receipt of this information, the driver and two passengers were detained along with the vehicle.

During the inspection of the car, a grenade with an explosive device was discovered in the pocket of the front door. The 60-year-old driver, who resides on Andranik Street in Yerevan, informed the police that he had found the grenade among the personal belongings of his mother, who passed away last November. This circumstance will be confirmed or denied during the investigation. The grenade has been sent for examination.
