Ani Samsonyan Appeals to Mesrop Arakelyan Regarding the Merger of Orphanages

Member of the 'Enlightened Armenia' faction, Ani Samsonyan, has appealed to Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Mesrop Arakelyan regarding the potential merger of Yerevan's N1 orphanage and the Norq orphanage state non-commercial organizations (SNCOs).

“Today, a protest took place against the possible merger of Yerevan’s N1 orphanage and Norq orphanage SNCOs. There is no published legal document about this, but it is known that the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia has developed and circulated a project for reorganizing the SNCOs through a merger,” she stated on her Facebook page.

“I have submitted a written request to Minister Mesrop Arakelyan to provide me with the project. After reviewing the project, we can speak more concretely about the feasibility and appropriateness of the possible reorganization of the SNCOs,” she added.
