We Need to Stop Nikol, Because One Day He Will Announce That 77 Percent of Yerevan's Population Were Muslims: Artak Zakaryan

In the next elections, anyone voting for Nikol, if they have any sense, must be a person lacking homeland and personal dignity. This was stated by former Deputy Minister of Defense Artak Zakaryan on his Facebook page.

“Capitulating Nikol, on October 16, 2020, amid the heat of war, gave yet another pointless interview to a foreign media outlet. In that interview, he claimed that throughout history, 80 percent or more of the population of Artsakh were Armenians. Just three months later, on January 20, 2021, in the National Assembly, he publicly declared that Shushi is a city with a 90 percent Azerbaijani population, non-Armenian. Is there any normal leader in a normal country who would respect such a ‘prime minister’? There is none. No government respects Nikol. They never respected him, and they only spoke to him when it suited their needs, not Armenia’s. Nikol has been exploited, and everyone continues to exploit him. And the exploited Nikol continues to lose the vital and existential interests of Armenia and Artsakh.

We need to stop Nikol, because one day he will declare that during General Paskievich's time, 77 percent of Yerevan's population were Muslims. Anyone voting for Nikol in the next elections, if they have sense, must at least be a person who lacks homeland and personal dignity.

When Nikol appears in court, at that moment, the Armenian people will regain their dignity in the world. The suspicions of betrayal must be legally clarified, either revealed or denied, to the very end. If Nikol reappears in the next parliament, it will signify the ultimate disgrace of the Armenian people in the world. This will mean that whatever percentage of votes Nikol receives, that many percentage of people ready for dispossession, shamelessness, and lack of principles live in Armenia.
