Nikol Pashinyan: "Today, there are people and forces in Armenia that want blood"

The situation we have in Armenia today is unprecedented, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated during a meeting with residents in the community of Nerqin Bazmaberd in the Aragatsotn Province.

"After such a heavy war, in the midst of a five-month-long confrontation, we have managed to avoid civil clashes. Today, there are aggressive forces in Armenia, and their aggression is increasing every day. However, I want to emphasize that during this confrontation, we have essentially managed to avoid civil clashes. This is a tremendous achievement," he said.

The Prime Minister noted that this is primarily the achievement of the people. "And this is in a context where some are directly calling for murders, urging for terrorist acts. We are reaching a situation where even some judges encourage these calls for murder, law enforcement agencies arrest, take them for detention, and they say, 'Nothing, go ahead and continue your 'mission'," Pashinyan announced.

He pointed out that there are people and forces in Armenia that want bloodshed. "Today, there are people and forces that want blood in Armenia, they want blood to flow in the streets, because these people are still not satisfied with the blood of October 27, the blood of March 1, these people are not satiated with the blood of dozens of political murders and want to drag Armenia into bloodshed," he stated.
