Minister Told Us to Leave Our Trenches: The Leader of Kajaran

Manvel Paramazyan, a member of the board of the 'Renaissance Armenia' party and the leader of Kajaran, recounted that during the battles of Jabrail, the Prime Minister urged to switch to self-defense in Syunik, but in December they were forced to abandon their trenches.

“The battles were still in Jabrail, and the Prime Minister called on the community leaders of Syunik to move to the self-defense of Syunik. Can you imagine how far Syunik and Jabrail are from each other? After that call, we maintained a security zone about 40 kilometers from the border of Syunik, and it wasn't easy; we fought to secure all of that and... What happened afterwards? The minister came, gave some time, and said, ‘You must leave your trenches.’ They forced us to leave. Not a single round of ammunition, not even one bullet... They said, ‘We cannot help.’ Up to now, there has been no support from the state,’” the leader of Kajaran stated at a press conference.
