For Armen Khachatryan, the trench was the Goris municipality: A. Arushanyan

I believe it is inappropriate for a citizen of the Republic of Armenia, who has participated in the war, to present their actions during the military operations. If I may comment on the statements made by Deputy Armen Khachatryan, I would say that Mr. Paramazyan and I have been on the front lines with our fellow citizens since October 1 and participated in all military operations. Our other friend, Mr. Zakaryan, joined us on the 4th of the month, where he was wounded.

This was stated by Goris Mayor Arush Arushanyan during a press conference of the members of the Renaissance Armenia party, referring to Deputy Armen Khachatryan's claim that no mayor from the Syunik region participated in military operations with their squad.

“I know that for the individual you mentioned, the trench throughout the war was the Goris municipality. If he meant that he did not see us in that area, then yes, he is correct in that regard. There were opinions that he commented on this referring to the period after the end of the war. I will clarify, particularly, that I was at the front line even after the war, until December 15,” Arushanyan added.
