Edmon Marukyan Responds to Nikol Pashinyan: 'Why Isn't a Fact-Finding Group Being Established?'
Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the 'Enlightened Armenia' parliamentary faction, has responded to Nikol Pashinyan’s statement regarding the establishment of a fact-finding group. He reminded that nearly two months ago, he personally handed over a draft law for creating a parity-based fact-finding group during a Q&A session in parliament.
Pashinyan had stated during a gathering in Bazmaberd that he agrees to conduct an investigation into all episodes of the war, including the negotiation processes. Marukyan emphasized, 'I would like to remind you that almost two months ago, during a question-and-answer session in parliament, I personally submitted the draft law regarding the establishment of a parity-based fact-finding group to him.
As of now, I have not received any response from Pashinyan regarding this initiative. If you indeed agree to the conduct of an investigation, then why isn't a fact-finding group being established and what is hindering the commencement of the investigation?'
