This Was a Very Expected Thing and the Same Threatens Our Remaining Cultural Monuments: International Expert on the Destruction of the ‘Green Church’
International expert Suren Sargsyan made a post on his Facebook page regarding the damage to the ‘Green Church’ by Azerbaijanis.
“Yesterday, information was circulated that Azerbaijanis have damaged the ‘Green Church’. This was a very expected thing and the same threatens our remaining cultural monuments. Now I want to understand: What has happened to the Religious Freedom Alliance that we joined? Is it saying nothing? Why did we enter if it is not making any statements now? Why does our leadership demand nothing from the Alliance? When will we ever need that structure?” he wrote.
It is recalled that Turkologist Varujan Geghamyan published satellite images showing that the ‘Green Church’ in Shushi is destroyed.
