No Week Passes Without Violence from Faces of the Government That Gave Up Artsakh, Says Abrahamyan
When someone labels the government or its representative on this platform, law enforcement rushes in, escorting individuals to police departments under the threat of intimidation, initiating criminal cases, and carrying out arrests or detentions. No week goes by without various figures representing the government that surrendered Artsakh—ministers, deputies, mayors—exhibiting violence and rude behavior towards journalists and political opponents. This was stated by Tigran Abrahamyan, the head of the 'Henarik' analytical center, in a post on his Facebook page.
“But they not only continue to remain in their positions but also their actions are met with deep indifference from law enforcement agencies. At best, aesthetic formulations are used to comment on their actions, while no consequences follow. The law and legality are only invoked when it comes to ‘punishing’ opponents. This, of course, comes from the fact that those colluding with the Turks not only want to hold onto their chairs but also want to organize elections, form a government, and prove to us that nothing happened, and that treason is an excusable, digestible sin. Your time will come; be patient,” wrote Abrahamyan.
It is worth noting that today journalist Paylak Fahradyan reported in a Facebook live stream that Minister of Digital Development Hakob Arshakyan attacked him in a café.
