In the First Two Months of 2021, More People Departed from Armenia by Air Than Arrived

In the first two months of 2021, passenger traffic at Armenia's two airports (Zvartnots and Shirak) totaled 154,494 people. This was reported to NEWS.am by the press secretary of Zvartnots International Airport, Satenik Hovhannisyan.

In January, the passenger flow was 64,296 people (31,052 arrived, 33,244 departed). In February, that figure increased to 90,198 (31,901 arrived, 58,297 departed).

The number of citizens arriving in Armenia in January and February 2021 was 62,953, while the number departing was 91,541. This indicates that the number of people who departed from Armenia by air exceeded those who arrived by 28,588.

It should be noted that since February 1, 2021, Armenian citizens have been allowed to travel to Russia by air, provided they present a negative coronavirus test.
