Fact: How the Supply of Arms and Ammunition was Restored and How it Reached Armenia

Yesterday, information was published in the media that the suspension of arms supplies at the most intense phase of the 44-day war was a severe blow from our strategic partner, and it was only thanks to the personal efforts of Davit Tonoyan that these relations were restored. In this regard, remarkable details have emerged to the "Fact" newspaper.

According to our sources, during those days, Nikol Pashinyan was unable to establish contact with the President of the Russian Federation. Pashinyan turned to Davit Tonoyan (despite the fact that, according to our information, they had not communicated before) to resolve this issue, and indeed, after negotiations with Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, the supply of arms and ammunition was restored.

However, technical issues arose, particularly regarding the transportation of arms and ammunition. Davit Tonoyan addressed this issue to Davit Galstyan ("Patron Davo"), who during that period personally acquired two IL-76 aircraft and organized the transportation of arms and ammunition with his team on a 24-hour basis.

It should be noted that this is not about the purchase and sale of weapons but about the organization of their transportation. According to our sources, this involved more than 180 flights. At the same time, it is noteworthy that, according to our information, there was no support from state structures during this period; moreover, bureaucratic hurdles from civil aviation often hindered the process.
