An 18-Year-Old in Shengavit Stabbed: The 'Hero' is a 10th Grader
On March 14, at 11:25 PM, the Shengavit police department received a report from a hospital that an 18-year-old young man from Nerkin Shengavit had arrived for medical assistance with stab wounds. He claimed that he fell in their yard.
However, the deployed operational team clarified that the young man had sustained his injuries approximately 40 minutes before the call, as a result of being stabbed by an unknown individual on Solomon Taronzyan Street.
A forensic examination was ordered, and the police initiated an investigation. While acting on operational data received by criminal investigators, it was found that the person who stabbed the young man during a dispute is a 10th grader living on Frunze Street. On March 15, he was detained near their building and provided a confession.
Measures are being taken to locate the knife used in the crime. The circumstances are being clarified through the investigation.
