Visits, Releases, and Leaves of Term Military Servicemen Prohibited: Ministry of Defense

Recently, due to the increase in COVID-19 cases, sanitary and anti-epidemic measures are being implemented in the Armed Forces of Armenia. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

"Following the requirements of point 17 of the Armenian government's decision 1514-N dated September 11, 2020, visits, releases, and leaves for term military servicemen have been prohibited, except in cases provided for by subparagraph 2 of part 6 of Article 28 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia on 'Military Service and the Status of Military Servants' (in cases of death of a family member (wife, child, father, mother, sister, brother, grandfather, grandmother)).

We ask for your understanding regarding the restrictions imposed due to the pandemic situation," the Ministry of Defense's statement reads.
