Significant Warming Expected, But Rain is Coming: Weather Forecast
Meteorologists have presented the weather forecasts for the upcoming days for Armenia and Artsakh. The Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations’ Hydromet Service reports that from March 17-18 and 20-21, short-term precipitation is expected in some regions, with the possibility of thunderstorms.
On March 19, no precipitation is expected. The wind will blow from the southwest at a speed of 2-5 meters per second, with gusts in some areas reaching up to 15-20 meters per second. The air temperature will gradually increase by 8-12 degrees on March 17.
In Yerevan, brief rain is expected intermittently on March 17-18 and 20-21, with possible thunderstorms. On March 19, the weather is forecasted to be without precipitation. During the nighttime hours of March 17, temperatures will range from 3-5 degrees, while during the day, it will be +14 to +17 degrees.
