Mnatsakanyan Held a Phone Conversation with the Estonian Foreign Minister
On March 17, Armenian Foreign Minister Ara Aivazyan had a telephone conversation with Estonian Foreign Minister Eva-Maria Liimets. Minister Aivazyan congratulated his Estonian counterpart on her appointment as foreign minister and wished her success in her important mission.
The ministers discussed several issues on the bilateral agenda. The mutual willingness to invigorate cooperation in areas of mutual interest was reaffirmed. In this regard, the importance of regular communications and consultations between the foreign ministries was particularly emphasized.
Ministers Aivazyan and Liimets exchanged views on the issues of Armenia-EU partnership. In this context, the interlocutors highlighted the full implementation and effective application of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement between Armenia and the EU.
Minister Aivazyan stressed that the Agreement serves as a good instrument for implementing reforms aimed at democracy, human rights, and the rule of law in Armenia.
During the phone conversation, the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Estonia thoroughly addressed issues of regional security and stability.
