Criminal Case Initiated Over Video from Combat Position Near Kapan

A criminal case has been initiated at the Goris garrison military prosecutor's office based on the materials prepared by the Kapan military police division of the Armenian Ministry of Defense (MoD) regarding a video recorded at combat position No. 126 of Military Unit N, which was released on social media.

The case has been initiated under the third part of Article 376 of the RA Criminal Code, which aims to clarify the circumstances fully, objectively, and in a multifaceted manner, and to give a criminal-legal assessment of the actions of all involved parties, including officials. According to her, the criminal case has been forwarded to the 9th garrison investigative division of the RA Investigative Committee for conducting a preliminary investigation.
