We Will Witness the Most Disgraceful Elections in Armenia's History: Naira Zohrabyan

Ter-Petrosyan suggests giving Nikol a humanitarian corridor and helping him escape abroad. This was written by NAIRAL ZOHRABYAN, a member of the Prosperous Armenia party, on her Facebook page. She specifically noted, “Who will be held accountable for the abandoned Artsakh and the thousands of casualties?”

“Besides avoiding responsibility for the disgraceful defeat, the Prime Minister and the political force supporting him are driven not by concerns for strengthening and empowering the state, but by an undisguised obsession with maintaining their power at any cost. I agree with the claims being voiced in public that if snap elections are organized by the ruling force, they will not hesitate to use administrative resources on a widespread basis, which could turn all polling stations into hotspots of tension. I am convinced that in such a case, we will witness the most disgraceful elections in Armenia's history. This could mean the end of the Armenian statehood or a prolonged nightmarish existence.”

“Thus, the only option that serves the interests of the state, the people, and also the Prime Minister personally, in my opinion, is his immediate and voluntary resignation, along with the provision of legal guarantees of immunity by the National Assembly, for his, even temporary, shelter abroad. In this case, the Prime Minister's duties should be assigned to a non-partisan Deputy Prime Minister, who, due to their neutrality, can ensure the holding of fair elections.”
