Vaccinations Currently Being Administered with Russian 'Sputnik V' Vaccine, Minister Says
In Armenia, around 300 individuals have been vaccinated against Covid-19. This was stated by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Armenia, Anahit Avanesyan, during a press meeting with journalists at the National Assembly.
“Currently, we have about 300 vaccinated individuals. The process is ongoing, though it is still only among healthcare workers at Covid centers, as the next batches are yet to arrive in Armenia, at which point a broader range of individuals will be vaccinated,” Avanesyan said.
The minister noted that vaccinations are currently being conducted with the Russian 'Sputnik V' vaccine.
Regarding information about side effects from the 'AstraZeneca' vaccine, Avanesyan stated that the Ministry of Health is closely monitoring all reports.
On March 15 and 16, several European countries suspended the use of the 'AstraZeneca' vaccine.
