Prime Minister Presented a Chief of Staff Candidate with Management Experience: Kocharyan

I have not changed my opinion regarding Artak Davtyan, but I believe that at this moment the Prime Minister has presented a candidate for the Chief of Staff who has management experience and has held very important positions, including that of the head of the operational department. This was stated by Andranik Kocharyan, a member of the "My Step" faction, during a briefing with reporters in the National Assembly.

"If we look at the personnel potential of the General Staff, the Prime Minister's decision is logical at this time. The position of Chief of Staff cannot remain vacant for more than half an hour, and I believe that for a country under martial law, the president made the wrong decision by reversing the Prime Minister's initiative," noted the MP.

Kocharyan also announced that according to his information, by the order of the Minister of Defense, Tiran Khachatryan was dismissed from the position of Deputy Chief of Staff yesterday.
