Long-time employee of the public television company Hrachya Papinyan announced on his Facebook page that he was dismissed from his job due to a post he made on March 1.

The post reads:

“For this post on Facebook dated March 1, H1 terminated my employment contract, citing some clauses from the labor agreement, although I had not signed the contract due to objections to certain points. However, they had illegally processed my salary, and the director's assistant asked me to send the contract, as they would deduct that amount from her salary. To avoid harming her, I was forced to sign at the end of the month, but with the date from the beginning of the month. After a more detailed discussion with my lawyer, I will address this at the upcoming press conference, right near the H1 gates. Starting from last December, with recordings of phone conversations with all editors, screenshots of correspondence, and video materials. To sum it up, after exactly 20 years, I no longer represent H1 and I am free. By the way, they also posted my post, but the press misquoted it and added color to it.”
