Everyone Should Focus on Their Political Rating: Badasyan Responds to Levon Ter-Petrosyan

The society, I believe, is quite tired of mutual accusations of treason and non-treason, asylum, security issues, said Armenian Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan in a conversation with journalists, responding to the statement made by the first President of Armenia, Levon Ter-Petrosyan.

He stated that everyone should focus on their political rating.

"Such statements and meaningless suggestions will not contribute to increasing that political rating, I think the results of the latest research are quite telling regarding who holds what political rating," said Badasyan.

He noted that he does not see any security issues for any citizen of Armenia in general.

"We are a democratic country, a legal country and we have no issues," said the minister.

Regarding the possible use of administrative resources in early elections, Badasyan commented that this is from the realm of absurdity, as they have proven during elections that there have been no attempts at vote rigging in Armenia since 2018.
