Anna Lindh Calls on All Parties to Resolve Issues Peacefully

The regional situation has changed since the ceasefire agreement on November 10, stated Anna Lindh, the current OSCE Chairperson and Swedish Foreign Minister, during a press briefing after her meeting with Armenian Foreign Minister Ara Ayvazyan.

"I welcome the ceasefire. The full implementation of the ceasefire agreement will provide a basis to move forward in the conflict process," said the OSCE Chairperson.

She praised the work of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group and the efforts of the OSCE Personal Representative to find a long-term sustainable solution.

"Several issues still remain unresolved. At this stage, it is also important to show respect for international law, including humanitarian law," she added. Anna Lindh emphasized her call for all parties to resolve issues through peaceful means.
