A Scania Loaded with 22 Tons of Diesel Overturned, Causing a Leak and Lane Closure

Today, March 16, a major traffic accident occurred in the Syunik region. Around 03:40, a citizen of the Islamic Republic of Iran, identified as S. M., overturned a Scania tanker truck with a trailer under still unknown circumstances on the Kapan-Goris highway. As a result, the road was closed to one lane, and a leak began from the tanker, which was carrying 22 tons of diesel fuel.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, preliminary reports indicate that fortunately, there were no injuries resulting from the accident.
