He Is Coming to Save Us Again, This Provokes Laughter: Aram Sargsyan

Aram Sargsyan, the leader of the Republic Party, discussed the political activity of Armenia's second president Robert Kocharian during an appearance on Factor.

Commenting on Kocharian's statement that he will participate in the elections and win, Sargsyan said, "Kocharian has never suffered from modesty; on the contrary, his high opinion of himself has caused him more harm. Let him participate; I would like to see how he communicates with the public. I simply want to see how he will stand in the village of Avshar and talk to people through a megaphone. I want to hear what questions people ask him and how they assess him. I want to see if they greet him with a handshake, if they say 'Rob,' and what the attitude is like, because such things were strictly punished in the past. Or it provokes laughter that he claims to have saved the country twice and now he’s 'forced' to come and save us again; this really brings about serious laughter," Sargsyan remarked.
